DVDCover+

DVDCover+ or DVDCover Plus, as its name points out, serves a very specific purpose: to create covers for CDs and DVDs. The nice thing about it is that it is offered for free, provides support for multiple cover types, and it is incredibly easy to use. In little time and with minimal effort, you will be able to create and then print out some nice covers for your collection of discs.

Seeing that the DVDCover+ installation file is close to 2MB in size, it won’t take long for the download to complete. Run this file and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through the installation process. It must be mentioned here that DVDCover+ provides support for multiple languages and the aforementioned setup wizard will ask you to choose the one you want.

The cover you’re working on is presented front and center on the application’s interface. At the top you have buttons for picking the cover format, adding text and images, saving your work, and more. It is, in all fairness, a very simple layout that even a complete novice will immediately feel at home with.

Using DVDCover+ is a simple 3-step process:
Step 1 – select the cover format you want to use. There are several formats to choose from, you can edit the existing formats, and you can create new ones.
Step 2 – add the image you want to see on the cover and insert any text you want. Position the image and the text as you see fit.
Step 3 – save your project or print out the cover you created.

As mentioned above, DVDCover+ is a free application. There’s a catch here: you won’t be able to place more than 2 objects with the free version. Try to place more than 2 objects on the cover and you will be invited to remove this limitation by registering.
